Scratch

Small Talk. Big Ideas.

Today I did something fun at Schlou. I taught Lula how to work a programming software called scratch. I teach her this ever single Thursday and it’s really fun.

So on the first lesson I taught her how to create a character and how to add dialogue to the character in scratch all of the characters are called sprites Lula put in a running unicorn.

In my second lesson I taught her how to cut out characters from her project I also taught her how to add backgrounds. There is this cool feature in scratch that allows you to change the backdrops well the code is running so I taught her how to do that.

On the third lesson (today) I taught her how to make her character move. What you do is you put in the glide command the glide command is a command that will glide your character to the coordinates you put in the box.

Overall I had a good day. I can’t wait for the next Schlou day!
