Unity

Small Talk. Big Ideas.

Today, I got homeschooled by my dad. He helped us with a lot of things, but some things he didn’t know how to do so he hired me a Unity tutor to teach me unity. Today was my first class and it was a lot of fun. This post is about what I did and what I liked.

When we were first getting started he explained to me the terrain of unity and how to create objects like blocks and a platform. You can put anything you want on that platform, for example he added a cube.

The next thing he did, was to adjust the angle of the camera so that when he started the game the platform that the block was on would become visual. The reason why it wasn’t visual was because the platform was thin and the area we were looking at it from made it invisible.

Another thing he did was to add x y and z coordinates to make it so that if I use the arrow keys (up left right down) or the wasd keys.

The lesson was super fun and interesting and and got me more into unity. I can’t wait for next lesson!
